My most recent news is that I have found a new calling as a librettist and have been collaborating with British composer James McCarthy on an opera about Virginia Woolf called "Between Two Silences." I am the author of a dozen plays for stage and radio that have been widely published and produced. After completing my PhD at Stanford University in 1983, I began teaching in the department of English and Drama at Saint Mary's College. I've been there ever since.
I live in Berkeley with my husband and our two daughters, Ellie and Erica. Ellie is now a physics student at CCS!
