LITERATURE CS 113, Section 4 EC # 28589
GRAPHIC NOVELS

Although cartoon is a venerable term for preliminary drawing, comics as we know them are a comparatively recent invention sprung from newspaper rivalry and advances in printing. I've selected some (of very many) picture-stories and expect you'll bring in others. It's rare to be present while a new form emerges. Papers, presentations.

College of Creative Studies Literature majors will have priority.
