QUANTUM PHYSICS

Wave-particle duality. Photons. Matter waves. The uncertainty principle. The Schroedinger equation. Potential wells and barriers.The quantized simple harmonic oscillator. The hydrogen atom.

Prerequisites:

Physics CS 34 and 35 or equivalent.
