Course Open to Non-Science Majors The existence of sex has been termed the greatest problem in evolutionary biology and sexuality itself affects many areas of biology. This course will explore many aspects of sex and evolution and can be taken by students in any area, including non-science majors. General Expectations for Four Units: Attendance; do the reading; class participation, and three short presentations/papers based on your own intensive reading. Presentations will be about ten minutes in length, with a 2-4 page report turned in. There will be three sessions of reports: 1) Sex Allocation; 2) Mating Systems; and 3) General Consequences of Sex. A list of possible topics and an outline of what's expected will be provided for each session.
