This is a short-story writing class done in threes. You work with two partners and me throughout the quarter. You write stories on your own, of course; then after writing, you, your two partners and I go over the stories together (yours and your partners'). That way three people will edit and make suggestions for your stories on a regular basis. Each group will meet with me twice a week on Mon. and Wed. for 25 minutes. The class is limited to 12 students. Those interested must submit a 3-5 page short story (or 3-5 pages of a longer story) to me before March 12, 2008. Place a double-spaced printout in my faculty mailbox with your name, email address, and the word "Trios" on the top of the first page. By the beginning of Spring Quarter 2008 I will email you a list of the students accepted.
