MATHEMATICS CS 120, Section 2 EC # 30312
INTRODUCTION TO HIGHER MATHEMATICS

This course is required for all incoming CCS Mathematics freshmen and other first year CCS Math majors

This first-year course will be an introduction to some of the basic methods and ways of thinking that are used in more advanced mathematics. We shall discuss a variety of different topics including number systems, set theory, logic and mathematical proof.
