PROJECTS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE: PRACTICAL SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

This is a hands-on, laboratory style course which brings students from all backgrounds and class levels to work together or individually on continuing or new projects. During the course of the quarter we will discuss practical software engineering issues computer scientists face while building large-scale software systems. The approach is highly interactive and hands-on, requiring participation by each student taking the class.

Every student is expected to work on a large-scale individual or group project that they are interested in. Students will be given class time to discuss design and development of won projects and receive peer review and comments.
