"The opportunities available to CCS students are endless! To be readily welcomed by physics professors into graduate courses, or to have the chance to begin working in a research lab starting freshman year—these are unusual experiences for an undergraduate. But being a CCS student has opened doors to me that I never knew were there." Susanna Kohler CCS Physics Student

The best way to find out if CCS is the right program for you is to come and visit us! Visit with current students in the residence halls, sit in on a lecture, tour the student labs, pop in to a research lab or two, talk to students and faculty. Getting acquainted with some of the people involved in CCS will tell you much more about the program than any brochure or website ever could. In addition to seeing the physics program, a visit will give you a chance to see the UCSB campus, student life in Isla Vista and surrounding areas, and the beautiful town of Santa Barbara.

Below is our weekly calendar for Spring Quarter 2009. Use it to help you pick a time of the week for your visit. Lectures, problem sessions, and labs are all worth visiting. If you need help coordinating your visit, contact Leslie Campbell in the CCS office.
