Peter and Debby Stalker moved to Santa Barbara in 1986. Prior to that time Peter, who went to Williams College and Harvard Law School, practiced law in Michigan and Debby, who attended Sweet Briar College and graduated from Boston University, raised three children. All their adult lives they have been active in volunteerism. In Santa Barbara this has included Debby's work with the Music Academy of the West, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and the Ensemble Theatre and Peter's work with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commision, The Arts Fund, Hospice of Santa Barbara, the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara and the Ensemble Theatre. They also find time to travel the world and to enjoy their ten grandchildren.
