Course Description

Enrollment Comments: Not open for credit to students who have completed Chemistry 1A or 2A.

General chemistry for the CCS Chemistry and Biochemistry major (open to other CCS majors pending advisor approval). Topics include stoichiometry, chemical reactions, gas laws and kinetic molecular theory, chemical equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, and solubility. Typically 3 units based on attendance and participation, homework, and exams.
