The CCS Research and Creative Activities Conference (RACA-CON) takes place on Saturday, November 6, 2021 during the UCSB Parents & Family Weekend. This year’s conference celebrates over three decades of the CCS Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program, the brainchild of UCSB Chemistry Professor Emeritus Donald H. Aue. In honor of Professor Aue’s dedication to the summer fellowship program, CCS will name an Aue Fellow in his honor, starting in summer 2022.

RACA-CON started in 2017 and provides an academic and professional environment for students across all eight majors to showcase their research and creative projects. In addition, it provides an opportunity for students to hone their ability to communicate their work to others outside their field. The conference also serves as the culmination of the 2021 CCS Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) recipients summer projects, as each fellow presents their research or creative activity at RACA-CON.

CCS invites all parents, families, and friends to register and join us at the outdoor RACA-CON poster session from 3:45 - 4:45 p.m. to celebrate CCS student success and the summer fellowship program. Please make sure to register for both Parents & Family Weekend and CCS RACA-CON.

**Note: For UCSB faculty, students, and staff, please RSVP for RACA-CON through the link in your email.
