Gordan Tudor and Mislav Režić present a concert marking the 30th Anniversary of International Recognition of the Republic of Croatia. They will be featuring compositions by Stephen Goss, Chiel Meijering, Davor Branimir Vincze, Mirela Ivičević, Steve Reich, Radiohead, and Ivan Božičević.

A tradition since the establishment of the College in 1967, the annual All College Meeting occurs on the day prior to the beginning of the academic school year. All CCS Students, Faculty, and Staff are invited to meet and greet colleagues, hear important information about the coming year, be part of the 2022 CCS All-College Photo, and enjoy the catered light breakfast and sandwich lunch!

As Part of the Summer 2022 Culture and Community Grant Program, invited by Professor Ernest Freund of the UCSB Physics Department, the UCSB campus will be visited by three (3) Sumo Champions, including “YAMA”, the Heaviest Japanese Human Being in History! He’s also the multi-time World Sumo Champion, and has made appearances in 30 countries, worldwide.

Andrew Freund will share his background in sumo, and life experiences, from his legendary days as a College of Creative Studies student, to his time working in Japan, his teaching career, and the past 25 years, as a pioneering producer of international sumo events worldwide.

Sound Painting is the universal multidisciplinary live composing sign language for musicians, actors, dancers, and visual artists. Come join our class in our end-of-quarter performance as we share what we've learned in this improvisatory performance experience. Each Sound Painting performance is creative, unique, and unrepeatable: you don't want to miss this!

Grace Fisher ’22 (CCS Music Composition) will present her senior music composition recital on May 22nd, 2022 at 7:30pm at Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall. The program will include some of Grace Fisher’s orchestral compositions, performed by a combination of USCB music students and community members.
