INTRODUCTORY CREATIVE NONFICTION WORKSHOP

Course Description

In this course we will focus on the fundamentals of effective storytelling, sharpen analytical skills, and develop a sustained writing practice.

We’ll emphasize the writing of the of short creative essays (5 to 8 pages) and I encourage cumulative pieces, though we’ll also create stand-alone pieces. by the end of the course, you’ll have written at least a creative nonfiction essay for each week we meet, both stand-alone pieces and cumulative pieces. By the end of the course, you will have written at least 50 pages.
